Arlington Public Schools posted a Superintendent's Update titled "Celebrating the New Arlington High School," marking the completion and opening of the district's new high school building. The update did not include additional detail on programming or a formal dedication event, but it signals a major milestone for the district's long-running building project as staff and students prepare to return for the new school year.
Separately, the district announced a "Reusables Roll Out at APS Schools" initiative, moving cafeterias away from disposable dining ware. The district did not specify which schools are included first or a full timeline for the rollout.
