Arlington Schools Set August Dates For Staff Orientation, Family Webinar

ARLINGTON — Arlington Public Schools posted its calendar for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, setting new-educator orientation for August 17 and 18 and a family-facing webinar on childhood anxiety for August 19.

Arlington Public Schools is firming up its plans ahead of the new school year. The district has scheduled New Educator Orientation for August 17 and 18, followed by a New Educator Curriculum Day on August 19, according to the district's event calendar.

That evening, the district is also offering a free virtual Cartwheel webinar titled "When School Feels Hard: Understanding Anxiety and Avoidance in Kids," running from 7 to 8 p.m. on Zoom and open to families across the district.
