ARLINGTON — The Arlington Library Board approved the 2027 holiday schedule and a staff closure on January 29. Library Director Anna Litten presented both items as amended approvals, and the board also voted to permit book sales by featured poets during the monthly poetry series. In other business, board members discussed strategic planning proposals and action plans for FY26-FY27, requesting amended versions at future meetings.
Board member Amy Hampe, serving as Foundation Liaison, reported that the Foundation approved the library's FY27 funding request of $148,000.
