Arlington Select Board approves annual licenses, accepts $15,000 fire department gift

ARLINGTON — December 22, 2025 — Arlington's Select Board unanimously approved annual license renewals and a slate of consent items at its brief December 22 meeting. The board, chaired by Diane Mahon and joined by members John Hearn and Eric Helmuth — with Stephen DeCourcy absent due to illness — accepted a $15,000 gift from the Sisters of St. Anne designated for the Arlington Fire Department, which Hearn called "a really great statement of gratitude and appreciation." Town Manager James Feeney offered congratulations to the Arlington Pop Warner Sea Team Storm cheerleaders on winning a national championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mahon closed by announcing she has taken out nomination papers for the March 28, 2026 Select Board election.
