ARLINGTON -- June 9, 2026, Arlington's Zoning Board of Appeals wrapped a short administrative session June 9 with two unanimous votes and no public hearings. The five-member board, chaired by Christian Klein, voted 5-0 to adopt the written decision in Docket 3901 at 9 Lancaster Road, which grants a special permit for a second-story addition encroaching into the right side yard setback under Section 813B of the Arlington Zoning Bylaw, formally closing the case heard May 26 and clearing the way for the petitioner to seek a building permit. The board also approved its May 26 minutes by the same margin. Member Brad Baranowski was absent; member Adam LeBlanc, who was not present at the May 26 hearing, was ineligible to vote on those minutes.
